Pleasure, fun, relaxation, friendships and personal achievements are the key ingredients of a stay at La Garenne. Our extensive programme of activities is designed to challenge and excite our campers. The activities shown below are an indication of what campers could experience. They are subject to availability, the weather and the students' ages, and not all experiences will be offered during each camp.
La Garenne enjoys an exceptional location on a sunny plateau at an altitude of 1300 metres above sea level (4250 ft). Stunning Alpine peaks including Mont Blanc and the iconic Dents du Midi mountain range feel within touching distance. Our Summer Camp offers easy access both to alpine meadows and the Swiss Riviera along Lake Geneva. The experience is - quite literally - a breath of fresh air.

Children aged from 8 to 12 can choose Lake Camp or evening Football for an additional fee. You will still have morning language classes and afternoon activities.
Lake Camp
4 afternoon sessions of water activities such as: banana boat, AquaParc, sailing, paddle board, rafting.
Football with Juventus FC
4 sessions of football coaching with Juventus Vaud, including ball skills, team work, conditioning and match play. Read more
Give your imagination free rein in our fast-track Design Academy.
Design Academy
Instead of morning language classes, learn about design and collaborate on a design project. Available in Session 2 only.
Our 13-16 year olds can opt for exhilarating and adrenaline-packed activities such as a tandem parachute jump paragliding or karting.
Karting Academy
Experience the thrill of speed under controlled conditions! Available in Sessions 3 and 5 only. Read more

EXTRA ACTIVITIES
Alongside normal afternoon activities, La Garenne Summer Camp also offers students the chance to participate in exclusive outings. By far the most popular is the excursion to Europa Park - the largest theme park in Germany.
We travel by luxury coach arriving in Germany in the early evening ready for some serious fun on roller coasters, rides and at the water park Rulantica.
The two-day trip includes an overnight stay at a resort hotel, entry fees and meals. Students are supervised by our own La Garenne staff.
Places are limited so check the option on your Summer Camp application form to secure your place now. Eropea Park is available in 2024 for Sessions 1, 3, 4 and 5.
DIGITAL DETOX
Summer Camp is designed to keep students active, occupied and healthy. For this reason, Minis and Juniors must hand in all devices such as mobiles phones, iPads and tablets on arrival. They can call their parents at set times, twice a week apart from the first Sunday after arrival. Details are in our FAQs.
Our teenagers have more freedom regarding access to their devices, but this is at our discretion. No devices are allowed during private or group classes, mealtimes, activities (unless by prior agreement with camp staff) or after bedtime.
We find that students are much more alert and connected once they learn to detach themselves from their devices. Instead of looking at tiny screens, they are focussed - quite literally - on the bigger picture of our amazing landscape.
Football Academy
Football Academy
La Garenne’s Summer Camp Football Academy is led by Juventus Vaud, part of the mighty Juventus FC in Turin. The aim is to give students their first introduction to professional football, guided by qualified coaches.
La Garenne Summer Camp students will have evening training sessions to improve their technique, physical strength and condition.
The training is based on Juventus' own methodology and is grounded on respect and fair play.
The Juventus coaches have a degree in physical education, and/or FIGC qualifications and are fully versed in the unique Juventus methodology.
Naturally, health and safety is a high priority and is in accordance with Swiss directives.
Football EXPERIENCE FOR LA GARENNE SUMMER CAMP ( 8-12 YRS)
